World’s Best Homemade Salsa {In 5 Minutes}

This is hands down the best salsa I have ever had! My roommate inย college used to make it and throughout the years I continue to make it and customize it!

It can be very chunky salsa or it can be more like restaurant style salsa and not as thick.

Here is what you’ll need:

2 cartons of grape or cherry tomatoes

1 can of black beans

1 large avocado

1/2 sweet onion

2 cups of frozen corn or 1 cans of shoe peg corn {I use two because I love corn}

5 cloves of garlic

1 lime

1-3 tablespoons of salt {depending on what you like}

Cilantro

How to make restaurant style salsa:

This will take you about 5 minutes ๐Ÿ™‚ It is how I prefer to make my salsa.

  1. Add tomato, garlic, onion, to a blender and pulse the blender until all ingredients are thoroughly chopped. Then add to a large bowl.
  2. Chop cilantro and add to bowl
  3. Cut up avocado, add to bowl
  4. Strain corn and black beans and rinse, add to bowl
  5. Juice entire lime, add to bowl
  6. Add salt to taste
  7. Enjoy ๐Ÿ™‚

How to make chunky salsa:

This will take you a little longer.

  1. Cut up tomato into small pieces
  2. Cut your avocado into small cubes
  3. Finely chop your onion
  4. Strain your cans of black beans and corn {then rinse}
  5. Mince garlic
  6. Juice your lime
  7. Finely chop cilantro
  8. Add all ingredients to a bowl and add salt to taste

You can eat this with chips and salsa or you can use it as salsa on top of your tacos ๐Ÿ™‚ we did both! Enjoy!
